AMPM Coffee has created this privacy statement to demonstrate how AMPM and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies ("AMPM") collects, uses and discloses personal information of customers through our websites, all affiliated websites, contests and online services that link to this policy (collectively, the “Sites”), through our programs and in our physical stores ("Services"). This Privacy Policy may be updated by AMPM Coffee giving reasonable notice of the revised terms (including by e-mail or by posting on the Site), and this Privacy Policy may be supplemented or modified by agreements entered into between AMPM Coffee and an individual from time to time.

In this Privacy Policy, "personal information" means any information about an identifiable individual such as your name and address, as further defined under applicable Canadian laws.

Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Information

AMPM Coffee may collect and maintain personal information such as name, postal address, phone number, and e-mail address, Financial account information, such as credit card number, other payment information and purchase history when an Individual subscribes for services or purchases products on our website, in one of our stores or at a kiosk.

AMPM Coffee may collect personal information from an Individual where the Individual submits an application for an employment opportunity (such as that contained in a resume, cover letter, or similar employment-related materials). We use submitted personal information as is reasonably required to assess the Individual's suitability for employment at AMPM Coffee as well as to process the application and respond to the Individual.

When participating in a contest or promotion, we may collect personal information, such as a contest winner's name, city of residence, and prize winnings in order to award prizes and promote such contests. This information may be published in connection with contests. we may also use the Individual's contact information to provide periodic newsletters or updates, announcements and special promotions regarding AMPM products and services.

If you create an account on our website, including a AMPM Reward Program account, or register a AMPM Card - your username, password, your city of birth, your birthday and mobile phone number (optional).  At registration, you are given the opportunity to specify your communication preferences. You may change these preferences at any time.

If you are a AMPM Reward program account holder, we will link your Personal Information to your purchase activity made using your AMPM Card at participating AMPM locations within Canada to your account, and we will use your Personal Information in order to fulfill any benefits earned under the program.

If you use our mobile applications to buy goods using a AMPM Card - information such as your device ID, your location and stores near you and visited by you may be collected.

If you take a survey or interact with us in various other ways - demographics information and information about subjects that may interest you.

When you contact us with a comment, question or complaint, you may be asked for information that identifies you (such as your name, address and a phone number) along with additional information we need to help us promptly answer your question or respond to your comment or complaint. We may also retain this information to assist you in the future and to improve our customer service and product and service offerings.

AMPM Coffee may otherwise use customer information for additional purposes that are identified at or before the time that the information is used for such additional purposes. We may also collect aggregated data or anonymized data that does not directly identify you.

We may share information with companies that provide support services to us (such as credit card processors, mailing houses or website hosts) and that help us market our products and services (such as email vendors). These companies may use information about you to perform their functions on our behalf.

We may disclose specific information upon lawful request, in response to legal process, and when required to comply with laws, to enforce our agreements, corporate policies, and terms of use or to protect the rights, property or safety of AMPM, our employees, agents, customers, and others.

If you participate in any blog or other online forum on our Sites, any personal information that you post on our Sites may be shared with other forum participants and Site visitors.

We may transfer any information we have about you as an asset in connection with a merger or sale (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving all or part of AMPM or as part of a corporate reorganization or stock sale or other change in corporate control.

We will not give, sell, rent, or loan any of your Personal Information to any third party (with the exception of third parties performing functions on our behalf who have an obligation to keep your information completely confidential or a third party who buys our business) unless you have authorized us to do so.

We reserve the right at any time to collect, use or disclose any information: To satisfy any law, regulation or government request; If such disclosure is necessary or appropriate for site or system operation; or To protect the rights, property or safety of AMPM Coffee, its customers, site visitors, or others.

Cookies and IP Addresses

We may automatically collect website use information when you visit our Sites. This information may include information about your Internet service provider, your operating system, browser type, domain name, Internet protocol (IP) address, your access times, the website that referred you to us, the Web pages you request, and the date and time of those requests. Our collection of website use information may involve the use of cookies and Web beacons. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive by a website. Among other things, cookies help us improve our Sites and your experience. We use cookies to see which areas and features are popular and to count visits to our Sites. Web beacons are electronic images that may be used on our Sites or in our emails. We use Web beacons to deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness and to tell if an email has been opened and acted upon.  We may also use Local Shared Objects (Flash cookies).  To identify Local Shared Objects on your computer and adjust your settings.

Third party links

Our Sites may contain links to other sites that AMPM does not own or operate. Also, links to our Website may be featured on third party websites on which we advertise. Except as provided herein, AMPM will not provide an Individual's personal information to these third parties without the Individual's consent. We provide links to third party websites as a convenience to Individuals. These links are not intended as an endorsement of or referral to the linked websites. The linked websites have separate and independent privacy statements, notices and terms of use, which we recommend Individuals read carefully. AMPM does not have any control over such websites, and therefore has no responsibility or liability for the manner in which the organizations that operate such linked websites may collect, use or disclose, secure and otherwise treat an Individual's personal information.


AMPM takes reasonable steps to maintain appropriate physical, technical and administrative security to help prevent loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of personal information. While we take these reasonable efforts to safeguard your personal information, no system or transmission of data over the Internet or any other public network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

An Individual's online access to certain of their personal information may be protected with a username and/or password that the Individual chooses.  AMPM strongly suggests that Individuals do not disclose their username or password to anyone.  AMPM never asks for an Individual's password in any unsolicited communication.


Our Sites are general audience sites that are not designed nor intended to collect Personal Information from children under the age of 18. To respect the privacy of children, children under the age of 18 should not provide any Personal Information on the Sites. We ask that parents supervise their children while online.


An Individual may contact us to access, modify, delete or correct inaccuracies in any of his or her personal information that is under AMPM' custody or control.

Privacy Policy Updates

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do so, we will post the new privacy policy on this page and change the date at the top of the policy. We wish you to review them periodically.
